The campus is 100% powered by renewable energy sources and they recycle all their water for agricultural use! Their play areas are shaded with mostly wooden toys. They have massive football pitch and swimming pool. They have the coolest library too! I was also amazed by how many bicycles i saw outside the campus. Some student actually cycles to school. I love that the students gets access to the animal sanctuary by the lake and access to one of Sustainable City’s bio-domes where the students can learn more about wellness and urban farming. We’ve put Zach on a waiting list at one of our preferred school. He has actually just been offered a spot last week- but i really got converted after this tour! I want my kids to go here instead. This school shares my ethos - their curriculum integrates sustainability, more hands-on learning and program that extends far beyond classroom walls.
