For the curious, adventurous, young, and old, The Green Planet offers a first-hand encounter with some of nature's wonders. To make your experience even more special, you can also go behind the scenes or face your biggest fears as you experience a range of close encounters with exotic birds, reptiles, bugs, sloths, or even sugar gliders. You can also go for the Meet & Greet experiences, which allows small groups (of very brave people) the chance to hold and take pictures with The Green Planet's slithery snakes or scaly lizards. --FEATURES-- Make your way through a variety of nature zones, from the forest floor to the birds in the canopies. On your way you'll meet sloths, endless bird species, numerous reptiles and endless bugs! You can even come up close and personal with animals that are native to Australia. *The Australian Walkabout* This all-new thrilling Australian animal experience, promising to take visitors on a journey to the 'Land Down Under'. Venture through a fascinating multi-species exhibit which promises to educate and excite visitors all about the weird and wonderful species from the other side of the world! Get up close and personal with some of Australia's most famous creatures. *The Sloth Encounter* Sloths are extremely slow-moving mammals found in the rainforest canopies of Central and South America. Some sloths stay in the same tree for years and they sleep around 15 hours a day. Their huge hooked nails and long arms allow them to spend most of their time hanging upside-down from trees. *Sugar Glider Encounter* This 20 to 30 minutes of Sugar Glider interaction (max 6 participants) once per day at 15:30. This is an opportunity for guests to get an up-close experience with a Sugar Glider. They can take pictures next to them as well as learn more about why they are unique within the animal kingdom. A biologist will be able to answer any questions you may have during your time with these little ones. *Bird Encounter* Enjoy a 20 minute bird encounter with Toucan, Caiques or other small parrots once per day at 11:30 am. This is an opportunity for guests to get an up-close experience with our birds where they can take pictures next to them and learn more about different habitats of birds from an experienced biologist available in the Green Planet during their session. *Bug Encounter* Face your fears by having a 20 minutes Bug encounter with tarantula, millipede and roaches or worms once per day at 16:30 pm. This is an opportunity for guests to get an up-close experience with a bug where they can take pictures holding the small creepy crawlies and learn more about different habitats of bugs from an experienced biologist available in the Green Planet during their session. *Reptile Encounter* This is an opportunity for you to get an up-close experience with a reptile where you can take pictures holding or standing next to them and learn more about different habitats of reptiles from an experienced biologist available in the Green Planet during your session. *Piranhas Encounter* Witness a feeding frenzy like no other, as the hungry 1,000 Piranhas devour their food with their razor-sharp teeth. The session will take place once a day at 16: 00 pm. Experts will always be on hand to educate the guest and visitors. *Thunderstorms at the Green Planet* Normally getting caught in the rain is rare in Dubai, however you can close their eyes and transport yourself to the depths of the tropics and experience a daily thunderstorm. At the Green Planet, you can catch the tropical thunderstorm which is included in the general admission pass. Two times each day, at 1pm and 5pm, the storm will last for roughly around 5 minutes – plenty of time to get caught dancing in the rain! --BENEFITS OF GOING-- The Green Planet is the perfect place for children to explore the natural world.
