Join a public session if you're just skating for fun, a freestyle session if you're a more advanced skater and want to get some practice done - or you can even book a special Snowfall session where snowy white flakes fall gently around you as you skate.

SKATING SESSIONS

Public Sessions -- These sessions offer anyone and everyone a fantastic opportunity to experience the thrill of ice skating for the first time, or to perfect your skills.

Freestyle Sessions -- A freestyle session is a practice session for the more advanced skater. Freestyle skaters can use this session to perfect their jumps, spins and footwork. They can also play their music routines to prepare for competitions and shows. Dubai Ice Rink Skating Academy is committed to support the development of Figure skating within the UAE and provide ample opportunities and access to the ice for skaters of this calibre. Freestyle Ice Lessons must be pre-arranged with a Freestyle coach to check for availability and can only be booked at the Dubai Ice Rink reception desk.

Dubai Snowfall Session -- When soft flakes fall gently around you and when fresh flurries make your feet and fingers glow. That’s magic! Visit Dubai Ice Rink, the only place where snow falls in Dubai.

LEARN HOW TO SKATE

Have you always wanted to learn how to skate? Just about anyone, young or old, large or small, can learn to skate at Dubai Ice Rink. Their dedicated coaches will guide you through basic courses right up to receiving your International Skating Institution Asia certification.

Dubai Ice Rink’s Academy offers courses where you can learn the fundamentals of skating or improve your skills. They have classes for all levels of skating from the very beginner to advanced freestyle skaters. ISIA (Ice Skating Institute Asia) international certification is available for an extra charge.

You can even opt for their private lessons which are great for both beginners and pros from the age of 4 years old. For semi-private lessons (2-3 people) are also suitable for absolute beginners to pros from 4 years old, and perfect for families or friends who want to learn together. Both lesson options take place during public sessions, subject to availability of the coach.

Dubai Ice Rink’s coaches are a team of men and women from various backgrounds who are all avid ice skaters and have been coaching ice skating for over 10 years.

BIRTHDAYS PARTIES

If you wish to make your little one’s birthday the most memorable one ever, then head over to Dubai Ice Rink, where a grand celebration awaits them. Your boys and girls can have a fun-filled time skating at the Olympic-sized rink, along with lots of other exciting activities. Just choose from any of their awesome birthday packages and get ready to have a blast.

All packages include a non-dedicated party host, ice skating, rental of skates, helmets and lockers, birthday announcement and song played for the celebrant.

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO

- The ideal age is 4 years and above

- The minimum of 30 minutes or 1 hour depends on the terms and conditions of the voucher

- Parents are not mandatory to enter the rink

- It is suggested for children aged 6 years and above to be alone. However, if they do not know how to skate, parents need to be with them for safety or rent them a means for support.

- Children who know how to skate independently can be alone
