Raining Street of Dubai

The Raining Street is a quaint European-style pedestrian road where it rains all year round. Located in the Cote d’Azur Monaco hotel in the World Islands’ Heart of Europe, the road can be access either for free if you're a guest at the hotel or with a day-pass which you can book through calling the hotel directly. The 1-kilometre street is climate-controlled and maintains a constant temperature of 27°C, with humidity set to 60 per cent and winds of 5kph. So as soon as the temperature goes above 27°C every hour, cold water in the form of rain falls down through concealed pipes located at the top of the buildings. The street is also solar powered and developed in co-operation with the Fraunhofer Institute, one of Europe’s leading research organisations. And in the near future, snow will also be falling on the street. So take your kids to this unique destination and experience a quintessential European ambience right in the heart of the UAE.
