The absence of an immediate answer brings up the motive to investigate further, experiment and look for unconventional solutions.

However, when it comes to child cognitive development, the crucial question is not whether technology is beneficial or not; it is how technology is incorporated into learning and daily exposure. A child can use a digital tool to look up information, but still be encouraged to question its validity, compare sources, test ideas, make mistakes, and try a different approach. In this process, technology evolves into a starting point rather than an end point.
