Welcome to Sunnyside/Gus Ryder Outdoor Pool - enjoy a wonderful day along Toronto's vibrant lakeshore; located at the foot of Lake Shore Boulevard West and Parkside Drive. The pool is open to swimmers starting in June and closes for the season in September. So what are you waiting for? Grab your swimsuit, a towel, a mask and head on down! --- SWIM SCHEDULE --- A. Drop-In Programs Age: 7yrs+ - Lane Swim: 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., 10:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. and from 7 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. Leisure Swim: 12 noon to 6:45 p.m. The last day the pool is open is Sun., Sept. 4, 2023 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Check the website for updated schedule B) Registered Swim Programs for Kids - Guardian Swim Program: (Level 1 - Level 3) Ages (6mths - 5yrs), Jul 4 - Aug 11 2023, 10:30 - 11am, 10 - 10:30am, Mon-Fri - Preschool Swim: (Level 1 - Level 4) Ages (3 - 5yrs), Jul 4 - Aug 11 2023, 9 - 9:30am, 9:30 - 10am, 10:30 - 11am, Mon-Fri - SPLASH Swim Team: Ages (5 - 16yrs), Jul 4 - Aug 11 2023, 9 - 10am, Mon-Fri - Ultra Swim (Level 1 - Level 9): Ages (5 - 16yrs), Jul 4 - Aug 11 2023, Mon-Fri. Timings Vary for different levels, check website for registration. ---- GOOD TO KNOW ---- - This outdoor pool is also quite large with ample space for swimming in the shallow end, mid-section and deep end. - Steps leading to the shallow end provide easy pool entry. No bags are allowed on deck so you’ll have to bring a quarter to place your items in a locker. - There is metered parking after 4 p.m. and on weekends; if you arrive on weekdays before 4 p.m., parking is free.
