The Artful Child - Roncesvalles Studio Art programs

The Artful Child is a creative and artistic program for young children aged 18 months to 12 years old in Toronto. The art forms include painting, drawing, sculpture, collage, and mixed media. The classes focus on process-oriented art, where children are encouraged to explore materials, experiment with techniques, and freely express their ideas. ---- PROGRAMS ---- A) Creative Drop-In Classes: Ages: 1- 8yrs with caregiver Offered multiple days per week. B) Summer Messy Mornings Seasonal Program: Limited Spots Children enjoy a mix of outdoor and indoor messy art play, including water tables, nature materials, sensory bins, and splatter painting C) Artistic Birthday Parties DURATION: 1.5 hours unless otherwise arranged. TIMINGS: Preferred time, 2pm to 3:30. Party Room: With art activities and other things to interact with and explore. Add on: Art loot bags on request for extra fee. D) Artful After-School Clubs (Ages 4+) Each session explores a different theme or material - from sculpture to storytelling art. Offered Monday - Thursday afternoons during the school year. Day(s): Most families choose 1 day per week although some choose more: Tuesday OR Wednesday OR Thursday; 10 children per class, September-June, Time: 4pm-5:30pm E) Art Preschool program Ages: 3-5 years old Days& Timings: Day(s): Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Time: 9:30am-noon An inquiry based, child-led creative program for preschoolers where they learn through play, art and natural exploration.
