Experience the magic of maple season at the Brooks Farms Maple Sugar Festival! From wagon rides and guided tours to sweet syrup tastings and cozy bonfires, this outdoor festival offers a fun, hands-on way for families to learn how maple syrup goes from tree to table, with plenty of delicious treats along the way. Enjoy: - Train or Wagon Ride - Self Guided & Guided Educational Tours - Camp Fire in Sugar Bush - Evaporator Demos - Small maple syrup tasting - Marshmallows to roast over the bonfires - Maple Sugar Products (additional cost) - Pancakes in The Barn (additional cost) - Barnyard Playland (weather permitting) ----- KNOW BEFORE YOU GO ----- - Wear WARM WARM WARM clothing. The Bush is COLD and can be very snowy or muddy later in the season. - Winter Boots are a MUST! Hats, Mitts, Scarves, etc. DRESS like a farmer would, the more layers the BETTER!! - If there’s snow, bring a toboggan to pull your kids through the bush. This works much better than strollers. The bush is a real working forest and is NOT paved. - If you’re cold, Warm up by one of our campfires in the bush, visit the sugar shack, or catch a ride back to our indoor Farm Market & Bakery. - All kids must be accompanied by an adult. - No outside food or pets permitted ------ ADMISSION ------ Admission includes: - Access to the all-season Playland activities (animals, playgrounds, pirate ship) - A train ride to the maple sugar bush, followed by an educational tour of our maple forest! Watch us tap our trees and learn more about where delicious Canadian maple syrup comes from! - Roasting Marshmallows over bonfires! - A Maple Syrup Tasting - Option to add on a pancake breakfast in our new event space, The Barn for an additional cost! Please note: Maple tours run at 10am, 11am, 12pm, 1pm, and the last one of the day is at 2pm. There is limited space for each tour time slot so make sure you book now! Please meet at the train at your designated tour time: The train will take you down to the sugar bush where you will partake in Maple Sugar tour. Once the tour is complete, you are more than welcome to stay down at the sugar bush and enjoy the fires, and marshmallows, and watch the farm crew bottle the liquid gold, Maple Syrup! The train will take you back up to the market when you are ready, where you can stay & play! The farm market will open daily from 9am - 5pm for all your sweet tooth and pantry restock needs - honey, farm fresh jams, delicious baked goods such as pies, cookies, tarts, donuts, loaves and more!
