- Hands-On Learning: The DeBakey Cell Lab lets children (ages 7+) run real lab experiments in a kid-friendly environment.
- Free Family Thursdays: Every Thursday from 2 PM to 6 PM, the museum opens its doors for free.
- Special exhibits like 77 Minutes offer space for families to reflect, connect, and talk about real-world issues in an age-appropriate way.
Discovery Camps: The Health Museum runs STEM-themed summer camps for ages 5–13, filled with hands-on projects and curious experiments.
- Art + Science Events: From healing art workshops to creative collaborations, there’s always something inspiring happening.
- While the museum is fun for all, it’s especially great for kids aged 5–13. There’s plenty for teens and adults too, especially in the lab and deeper science exhibits.
