Blessington Farms’ Farm Funland features over 20 activities designed for kids of all ages, from toddlers to tweens, combining fun, education, and outdoor adventure. ------- SCHEDULE ------- - Operating Seasons: Open late September–November and March–early June. Closed during summer except for berry picking. - Timings: 9:00 AM–4:00 PM on weekends and select weekdays ------- RIDES AND PLAY AREAS ------- - Barrel Train Rides - Giant Slides and Slide Mountain - Jump Pad (Ker-Splat) - Pedal Cars and Trek Bikes - Rope Maze - Trolley Swings - Rat Race - Sand Mountain - Tire Mountain and Spider Web - Pony Hops and Steer Roping - Hay Palace ------- ANIMAL FUN ------- - Petting Zoo: Kids can get hands-on with goats, pigs, lambs, barnyard dogs, chickens, and baby bunnies. The farm preserves heritage and rare breeds, like Baby Doll sheep and zebu, offering an educational experience about livestock. Easter Egg-stravaganza: Features egg hunts and festive activities, perfect for younger kids to enjoy springtime fun. Flower Picking: For an additional $3, kids can pick fresh flowers, adding a creative and colorful experience. Spring Break Spectacular: Offers berry picking, rope maze, trolley swings, fossil digs, and hayrides, creating a fun-filled spring outing. Winter/Christmas Season: Holiday Farm Funland: Includes festive activities like hayrides, slides, and Christmas-themed photo backdrops. Strawberry picking is available, with no admission fee for picking ($5/pound). Activities like the Jump Pad, Tire Mountain, and animal encounters remain open, ensuring year-round fun. ------ CREATIVE FUN ------ - Fossil Dig: Kids can dig for unique fossils (included with admission, and they keep what they find), sparking curiosity about science and history. - Gem Mining: An additional fee activity where kids sift through dirt to find gems, offering a sense of discovery and adventure. - Catch-and-Release Fishing: Free with admission, kids can fish in a 2-acre stocked lake (catfish, bluegills, etc.) using provided cane poles and barbless hooks or their own gear. - Chicken Handling: For $3, kids can interact with chickens, learning about poultry farming in a hands-on way. - Field Trips: Available for PK-3rd graders in March, April, May, September, October, and November ($10/student, $16/parent or sibling). ------- OTHER ATTRACTIONS ------- - Duck Races: A fun activity where kids race rubber ducks, great for all ages, including younger children. - Photo Opportunities: Seasonal backdrops (fall pumpkins, spring flowers, Christmas themes) let kids pose for memorable family photos. ------ BIRTHDAY PARTIES ------ - Birthday Parties: A popular destination for kids’ birthdays, with reservable picnic tables, pavilions, or palapas for groups up to 60 or 100. Birthday parties can be booked Saturday and Sunday during the season. The deposit you pay at the time of booking includes the admission of your first 20 guests and the tables/pavilion you pick.
