From towering dinosaurs to deep space, sparkling gems to hands-on chemistry labs, every visit sparks curiosity across all ages, and they have got parents covered with thoughtful details that make it a truly stress-free, enriching outing. ----- HIGHLIGHTS ----- - The Houston Museum of Natural Science has five floors of permanent exhibits, spanning astronomy, space science, Native American culture, energy, paleontology, chemistry, geology, seashells and Texas wildlife, alongside rotating special exhibitions. - HMNS also houses the Butterfly Center, the Planetarium, and the Giant Screen Theatre. - Morian Hall of Paleontology: Dinosaur fans of all ages can walk through prehistoric time - Cockrell Butterfly Center: Great for calm moments, photo ops, and toddler wonder - Planetarium Shows: Immersive space shows for quiet downtime or rainy-day magic - Interactive Science Labs: Older kids can dive deeper into physics, biology, and chemistry - Discovery Camps (Summer & Holidays): Drop-off options for ages 6–12 ------ BIRTHDAY PARTIES ------ - You can secure your party date and time at the Hermann Park locations through their online box office. - Birthday Parties can occur any day of the week. At Hermann Park, they have 9 – 11am, 12 – 2pm, and 3 – 5 p.m. time slots available. - The price of a party includes the price of admission to the permanent exhibit halls – a value of $300 to $750 depending on the size of your party. - You are welcome to bring in your own food or have it delivered, but there are some restrictions: no alcoholic beverages, no heating devices, and no full-scale catering. - Birthday party activities are age and theme appropriate.
