Wildfish Theatre

Wildfish Theatre is a nonprofit children's theater located in Houston's Galleria area that offers programs for children in grades K–12, including summer classes, auditions, and participation in events like the Junior Theater Festival. ------ PROGRAMS ------ HITS Theatre offers a variety of programs tailored to different age groups and skill levels: - Ladybugs (Grades K–2): Aimed at young children who have completed kindergarten, this program offers sessions of Dear Edwina JR, a heartwarming musical about growing up. Each session runs for a week with a performance at the end. - Dramatics (Grades 2–5): For slightly older children, this program also focuses on Dear Edwina JR, with two-week sessions culminating in performances. - Pop Cabaret Short N Sweet Class: Inspired by pop stars like Sabrina Carpenter and Taylor Swift, this class allows students to sing and dance to their favorite songs in a fun environment. ****** Junior Theater Festival (JTF) Participation Wildfish Theatre participates in the Junior Theater Festival West, a national event celebrating musical theater. Students audition to be part of this opportunity, where they perform and learn from Broadway professionals.
