Al Rabi Tower & Hiking Trail

Al Rabi Tower is a historical monument built in 1915 as part of Khorfakkan's defence system. The tower marks the start and end of a breathtaking hiking trail overlooking the Gulf of Oman and Khorfakkan's mountains. The hiking trail is ideal if you are just getting into hiking and if you're craving stunning panoramic views with minimal effort. It's also dog and baby-friendly. The trail is well-marked and leads up to a 395m summit. Be sure to take plenty of water and snacks for the journey, which can take anywhere from 1.5-3 hours depending on your pace and number of stops. Most importantly, wear appropriate shoes that can withstand rocky terrain.
