Walk in the rain without getting wet! The Rain Room, a part of Sharjah Art Foundation, is a unique art installation that uses recycled water, providing a continuous stream of rainfall. With special trigger motion sensors, the room detects movements and pauses the rain wherever you are. A fun experience for the whole family with plenty of photo-snapping moments.

You can buy tickets at the venue or book online to choose a specific time-slot in advance. Book in advance if you're heading there on busy days.

- Each visit is a 15min session
- Only 5 people are allowed in at a time
- Children need to be supervised at all times

While you wait for your session to start, you can grab a dessert and drink at Fen Cafe & Restaurant that's right next to the entrance desk.

(Timings may differ during summer, Ramadan and public holidays. Make sure to call ahead before visiting)

interesting 😋

It's interesting how the system works, regardless it's an artificial rain. Kids tend to enjoy it. Parents... Dnt for get to bring extra clothes for ur kids if u r planning to continue ur journey elsewhere 😅.

Rain Room

An amazing afternoon spent at the @sharjahart experiencing magic with rain! The kids were absolutely gob smacked as they entered a dark room pouring down with rain! I love that the kids get to have these opportunities of using there imagination on different levels, the concept is to walk through the rain slowly so the sensors find you and stop pouring over you, and this to the kids meant run wild and free! The consequence of this was 3 very wet children but hey it’s just rain!
