The Whitchurch-Stouffville Museum & Community Centre - Workshops, Guided tours, Events & Rentals

Featuring the time period from 1850 to 1946, this community museum has a geographical focus specifically on Whitchurch Township and Stouffville, with a broader focus on York Region. The collection includes furniture, textiles, ceramics, silver, prints and maps, photos and textual items. Interpretive tours are offered for schools and other groups. Various workshops for adults and children take place throughout the year. Outreach programs are also available. Annual events include a Pancake Brunch, Antique and Classic Car Show, Victorian Tea, and a Candlelight Christmas Tour. Museum tours will guide you through the historical buildings that showcase the local lifestyle of the 1800’s. The Museum also houses additional exhibit spaces within the main building that feature rotating exhibits in various themes. The Museum & Community Centre offers a variety of special events and programs throughout the year! Rental spaces are also available and can accommodate a variety of events!
