Organics Farm is a small family-owned and operated Certified Organic farm located in Markham, Ontario. Certified Organic Pick Your Own & Ready Picked Strawberries and Apples. Located in the heart of the Greater Toronto Area, this family-owned farm offers strawberry and apple picking activities, farm tours, and an emphasis on organic farming, Organics Farm is an ideal place for individuals of all ages to connect with nature, learn about sustainable agriculture, and enjoy the bounty of Ontario's harvest. ---- HIGHLIGHTS --- - Organics Farm offers strawberry and apple picking activities during their respective seasons. - Visitors can experience the joy of harvesting their own delicious and organic fruits directly from the fields and orchards. - The farm provides the necessary equipment, such as containers or baskets, to ensure an enjoyable and hassle-free picking experience. - Strawberry picking typically takes place in the summer months, while apple picking is available in the fall. - Organic Farm Market & Wood-Fired Bakery ------ STRAWBERRY PICKING---- - For any individual who picks more than the 2-liter basket, the fee will be $6/lt. - Please do not bring your own reusable containers to pick in unless they are clearly marked in liters. - We will provide each person with a 2-litre basket upon entry. The $15 entry fee still applies should you chose not to pick your 2-litre basket. Any additional or larger baskets are available on the farm. ----- APPLE PICKING ---- - A 5lb bag to pick in will be provided to each person who pays the $15 entry fee. - The apples will not be weighed this year due to Covid 19. - Any apples picked over the entry 5lb bag are as follows: a 5lb bag is $12, a 10lb bag is $24 and it is $48 for a half bushel/20lb bag PYO. - 10 & 20-lb bags are available at the farm. Please call ahead or check our website for a crop update before coming. ----- KNOW BEFORE YOU GO ----- - Strollers/wagons are not permitted in the field as they damage the crop. - Sorry, pets are not permitted on the farm.
