The site features nearly 30 buildings: houses, barns, sheds, a train station, a school, a general store, a church, a blacksmith, a harness shop, a saw mill, a cider mill, and many more. The museum’s 25-acre grounds are ideal for exploring the outdoors in a family-friendly setting. Snowshoeing activities typically include a basic introduction, group games, and free time to wander the scenic areas. Snowshoes are provided, but participants should dress warmly and wear winter boots. To participate, registration is required, and children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
