- Xplorers program: Try your hand at the Parks Canada Xplorers for kids 6 - 11. Grab an explorers booklet from the park to begin your adventure.
Rouge National Urban Park Xplorers activity booklet takes you and your family on an adventure through the park as you complete fun activities and tasks! The activities will lead you to discover the natural treasures and rich human history of Rouge National Urban Park.
The Parks Canada Xplorers Program is currently offered in over 40 national parks, national historic sites and national marine conservation areas across the country.

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO

- While Rouge National Urban Park is open year-round, it's important to plan ahead before visiting.
- Wear season-appropriate clothes and shoes for hiking trails.
- Prepare your refreshments and food that can be carried in and especially out.
- Rouge National Urban Park has many points of entry and is accessible by public transit.
- The park is busiest on weekends from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., so visit during non-peak time for a better experience in the park.
- Use public transportation, bike, or carpool as parking can be limited when the park is busy.
- Dogs are welcome in the Rouge but must stay on a leash at all times.
- There are ticks in Rouge National Urban Park. Dress appropriately to decrease your chances of being bitten and check for ticks when you return home.
- Take only photos, leave only footprints.
