The multi-facility Science North is an interactive state-of-the-art science museum that calls Sudbury home. Science North, located in Sudbury, Ontario, draws children and adults from far and wide to its iconic snowflake-shaped exterior. The museum comprises a theater that showcases 3D movies with educational content. Also exhibited are animals such as porcupines, beavers, owls and flying squirrels along with aquatic life and insect specimen. A tour to the museum will expose you to the geological structure of the region that includes a billion years old inactive fault-line known as Creighton Fault and an underground tunnel formed by an explosion of a 2.3 billion year old bedrock. This is a perfect place to learn about the natural surroundings of the region. Call or visit their website for more information.
