Camp Kawartha has been providing magical camps for children since 1921. Camp Kawartha has been offering enriching overnight summer camp experiences for over a century, focusing on environmental stewardship and fostering a deep connection to nature. Located on Clear Lake near Lakefield, Ontario, the camp provides a variety of programs for campers aged 7 to 15

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

A) OVERNIGHT CAMPS

Introductory Overnight Camp: A 3-night session designed for first-time campers to get a taste of overnight camping.

1-Week and 2-Week Overnight Camps: These sessions offer a range of activities, including swimming, boating, archery, rock climbing, arts and crafts, and environmental education.

Pre-Leadership Camp: A 3-week program aimed at developing leadership skills in campers aged 13 to 14.

Arrival and departure times are determined by camper age and will be sent to families in the spring ahead of session. Generally, arrival time on Sundays is between 12:30pm and 4:00pm and pickup time is between 10:00am and 1:00pm.
