Get active for free with Kitchener's self-serve sports equipment lockers!

Launched on July 29, 2026, by the City of Kitchener in partnership with Equip Sport and Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities, this free community initiative makes it easy for families to borrow sports equipment at participating parks across the city.

Simply unlock a locker using the Equip Sport app, grab a ball or frisbee, enjoy active outdoor play, and return it when you're done.
