Island Lake Conservation Area

Island Lake Conservation Area in Orangeville, Ontario has a 1.17-acre natural playground with wooden games, climbing trees, and hand-carved benches. The park is also known for bird-watching in the spring. Hiking: The park has a variety of trails for families, dog owners, and experienced hikers. Some recommend shorter trails for young children. Picnicking: There are many places to stop for a rest or have a picnic. Fishing: Some recommend the park for fishing with kids. Island Lake Conservation Area is open every day from after sunrise to before sunset. Children ages 0–5 are free.
