FISH MIGRATION
Burleigh Falls is an important natural fish migration corridor connecting the Stony Lake system with downstream lakes. During seasonal migration periods, fish move through currents, eddies and narrow channels, making the area a fascinating spot for wildlife observation.

FISH SANCTUARY ZONE
Protected sanctuary waters around Burleigh Falls help safeguard spawning and fish migration routes.

Fishing is prohibited during the seasonal closure periods:
- January 1 to the Friday following the second Saturday in May
- November 16 to December 31
