Spend a few hours or a full day exploring Muskoka Heritage Place, an immersive living-history attraction in Huntsville. - Pioneer Village and regular train season: Ends Saturday, October 10, 2026.
- October 6-9: Train rides require advance tickets.
- October 10-11: Special Thanksgiving train service runs every 45 minutes from 10:45 AM-3:15 PM, with the last train departing at 3:15 PM.
- The Muskoka Museum remains open year-round and has free admission from mid-October to mid-May.
- Allow 2-3 hours to explore the site.
- Wheelchairs and rollator walkers are available to borrow free of charge at the main entrance.
- No pets are permitted; registered service animals are welcome.
- The attraction is particularly suited to families with children, with interactive activities and historical demonstrations.
