Cannamore Orchard is an Ottawa-area family-owned and operated orchard since 1982. There is so much to do for the whole family. ------ ACTIVITIES ---- Family Activity Weekends run from Labour Day Weekend until Thanksgiving weekend in early October. - Go for a ride on the covered wagon - Go for a ride on the famous cow-train - Use the pedal cars - Visit the giant hedge mazes - Visit the roaming chickens - Play in the family activity area - Walk through the Orchard - Visit the canteen or chip truck - Visit the Orchard store for fresh fudge Tours: Please Note: All guided tours must be pre-booked. Cannamore Orchard offers tours to preschoolers, nursery schools, home schools, school groups, senior groups, community centers, and others. We have strawberry, apple, and pumpkin tours but can arrange a special tour to suit your needs. All tours require a reservation, cost $12.00 per person, and are subject to a $100.00 minimum fee plus HST. Phone 613-448-3633 to book your tour. All tours must be pre-booked. Phone early before all tour dates are taken ------ PICK YOUR OWN ----- Opening for Apples: August - While we have apples on the trees, everyone is encouraged to come out and pick their favorites. Depending on the time of the season, you can pick Paula Red, Lobo, McIntosh, Cortland, Spartan or Empire apples. We also have pre-picked apples in store if you would rather just pick them from off the shelf. - Strawberry season usually lasts from mid-June to mid-July. You can pick your own or buy pre-picked in-store. - Apple season starts near mid-August and depending on varieties, weather conditions, number of pickers, and the crop, lasts until near the end of September. Some years, apples can still be picked until Thanksgiving weekend. - Pumpkin season starts in September and lasts until mid to end of October. ------ HALLOWEEN ATTRACTIONS ------ - Cannamore Orchard welcomes you to their Acres of Terror, Eastern Ontario’s Most Terrifying Halloween attraction!
