This remarkable landscape, features over 10,000 apple and pear trees, is also host to a fun-filled farm experience for the entire family throughout the year. ------ Family Fun Activities ---- - Families can pick their own apples while enjoying wagon rides, walking trails and a hay jump. - Explore sunflower fields, pumpkin and squash fields, a corn maze. - Enjoy candy apples and sweet cider. - Kids explore retired old tractors, animals, a corn pit play area, and a grain bin. - All-terrain strollers and wagons are welcome and visitors are encouraged to bring reusable bags. At the apple orchard, all pets should be kept on a leash and that you bring a few bags to clean up after them. Apple Orchard is the perfect place to capture special memories! All professional photographers are required to purchase a Photo Permit for the rights to shoot on the property. Sunflower fields: The Apple Orchard proudly grows hundreds of thousands of sunflowers using different planting techniques to allow longer bloom periods for your enjoyment and photo ops! The sunflower fields are the first crop, that comes into harvest at the end of July and beginning of August, and the best part is it's included with general admission.
