Where To Watch New Year’s Eve Fireworks In Dubai and Abu Dhabi 2020

New Year's Eve ain't complete without a proper send-off, so if you and your little ones are mad about seeing the skies light up as the clock strikes 12, here are our picks of where to catch those spectacular new year's eve fireworks both in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Global Village

Join Global Village as they celebrate a world of wonder in 7 time zones with 7 spectacular firework shows.

The Park opens at 4 pm for families to enjoy shopping & food from around the world.

At 8 pm, the park will be lighting up the skies with fireworks exactly as the clock strikes midnight in seven different countries – China (8 pm), Thailand (9 pm), Bangladesh (10 pm), India (10.30 pm), Pakistan (11 pm), UAE (12 am), and Russia (1 am).

In between the celebrations, check out Carnaval with their special unlimited ride package only available on December 31st.

Get your special New Year's Eve wristband to enjoy rides all night long and a 2-for-1 at the skill games to win great prizes!

To welcome 2021 with extra excitement, check out Mission Speed, the stunt show that will keep you on the edge of your seats. There’ll be five showings of this adrenaline-pumping performance, so you’re guaranteed to catch one!

The Park will close its doors at 2 am.

Bluewaters

Head over to Bluewaters for a colourful fireworks display on New Year's Eve and again on New Year's Day.

With the iconic Ain Dubai as your backdrop and the island's 360 views and cool instagrammable locations, Bluewaters is the place to be as the world rings in 2021.

Burj Khalifa

Welcome the New Year with a fireworks show like never before as a grand masterpiece of fireworks, lights and lasers dazzle you and your kiddos. Not much has been revealed about this year's Downtown spectacular, but if going by the past is any indication, you and the family can expect to share plenty of 'oohs' and 'aaahs' moments.

Al Seef

Make your way down to the popular waterfront promenade that is set to host a three-minute dazzling fireworks display to delight you and your kiddos.

Along with the skies lighting up over Al Seef at the midnight hour and gorgeous panoramic views of old Dubai, you can also take part in a range of entertainment along the promenade.

The Beach

Head to the sea side to ring in the new year in style on The Beach which is set to host a dazzling fireworks display on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

To catch the best views, book your tables in advance at one of the many dining destinations, and head over with your friends and families to see the sky light up at the midnight hour, along with mesmerizing views of the Arabian Sea.

You can even watch 300 drones launch into the night sky during the spectacular drone light show. Taking place daily until 30 January 2021, at 7pm and 9:30pm daily (8pm and 10pm on New Year’s eve), the light show creates beguiling 3D shapes choreographed to popular tunes.

Town Square Dubai

Sheikh Zayed Festival

Something spectacular is happening over at Sheikh Zayed Festival this New Year's Eve as they prepare for a fireworks show that spans more than 35 minutes in an attempt to break two Guinness World Records on Thursday, December 31st.

The display will include the “world’s first-ever Girandola fireworks show” while the second Guinness World Record organisers are looking to set is for the largest straight-line fireworks display.

Along with the fireworks, there will be special fountain and laser shows, performances by local and international bands, and children's activities taking at the Sheikh Zayed Festival.

Yas Island
