Outdoor Playground at Al Barari

Open to the public, this must-visit outdoor children's haven is chock full of fun games and equipment to get your little ones moving in the fresh air.

The Al Barari playground features include a water play area, climbing structure and zipline, Giant Swing and Toddler Swing

Your kiddos can also head over to the vegetable patch, and even stop in for some munchies at The Dairy Shed and choose from their selection of dairy and sugar free ice creams.

Do note that pre-booking is currently mandatory. No walk-ins will be permitted to enter.

The Block at Dubai Design District

You and the kids will love this family-friendly recreational space where you can relax and unwind, as well as escape and get fit. Located on the d3 Waterfront, The Block features a skate park, basketball and volleyball courts, climbing walls, an urban beach, as well as outdoor seating and entertainment area. With a host of cafes and restaurants minutes away in the Design Quarter, The Block is perfect for an outdoorsy day, with everything you need for the perfect slow weekend or a adrenaline-packed play date.

Town Square Dubai Park

Your kiddos big and small, boys and girls, are sure to have a fun-packed day out at this multi-activity community park. It comes complete with its own carousel, splash pad, kids' fountain, family train track, playground, outdoor stage and expansive green areas for a cosy family picnic.

Nothing beats a fun cooling afternoon in the Water Splash Park located in Town Square Park. With a tipping bucket, water rings and more, kids will be kept entertained for hours. A guardian is required for kids under 6. There's also a brilliant water play area for kids in the park against lush green spaces for a backdrop. While the kids splash to their hearts’ content, there is plenty of space for the parents to lounge around on a lazy afternoon. And if you're in the mood for some nostalgia, you can relive old memories and create new ones with your family on the 70-seater carousel at the very heart of Town Square Park. Capture picture perfect moments on one of the most iconic rides of all time, guaranteed to leave everyone wanting more!

The kiddos will LOVE the mini train! Let it take you round as you enjoy the views of the park. And what kids doesn't love a good old-fashioned play area? It's equipped with a slide, climbing nets and other world-class playground equipment, so you can let the kids keep themselves occupied for hours on end at the playground in Town Square Park.

The park is open from early morning but the attractions open from 11AM to 9PM Sat-Wed and 12PM to 10PM Thu-Fri.

Al Barsha Pond Park

And what's a park without a playground for the kiddos? Al Barsha Pond Park has several shaded play areas with sand pits, swings, slides, and toddler-friendly stationary rides. Your kids can let loose and monkey around on the play equipment while you sit by and enjoy the weather, while easily keeping an eye on them. Bonus: sand is great for breaking a fall, so if your kiddos get too excited you don't need to worry too much about bumps and scrapes.

This gem is an oasis in the middle of the city. It also boasts over 50 acres of greenery for your little ones to let loose and explore. There's a man-made lake at the park's center, tracks to jog, cycle and exercise, and loads of spots to relax and enjoy a picnic. The park was definitely designed with families in mind with numerous facilities and easy parking, making it easier for you to spend a day out with the kiddos, hassle-free.

Playground at Dubai Harbour Creek

If you're looking for a day out in the sun packed with activities, a great time, and a gorgeous water front view - then look no further than Dubai Harbour Creek. And if you've got kiddos who just can't keep still, they'll the underwater-themed playground, the "dune" play space, and the Emirati-themed Creek Play installation.

For your kiddos obsessed with everything marine-related, step into the depths of the ocean where they can explore a forest of sea grass and fish, climb inside the belly of a blue whale, or go on an aquatic adventure in the yellow submarine.

There's also an open play area designed to mimic the desert dunes, the kiddos can climb, jump around, or zoom through the "dune" mounds and tunnels on their desert adventure.

At Creek Play, they can slide, climb, swing, and jump into ball-pits in each of the seven nodes along the length of the waterfront promenade. Each of the nodes symbolizes and represents the seven Emirates, with gorgeous colors and architectural silhouettes echoing the old souqs and neighbourhoods.

Colourful Playground at Dubai Hills Estate

Head down with the kiddos to Dubai Hills Park and check out their cool playgrounds! There are several playgrounds scattered throughout the park, where your kiddos can enjoy the whimsical play structures designed like dragons and other fantastical creatures. There are lots of grassy areas as well, perfect for a picnic in the sun or a game of football. Your kiddos could also ride their scooters through the park and have a fun time exploring the grounds.

A few of the free attractions include: basketball court, skatepark, obstacle training (including wall climb), grassed ovals, plenty of playgrounds for all ages (swing and slides), and even a couple of hammocks (for mum and dad) at one of the playgrounds!

Also keep an eye on their new attractions: their bounce park is currently under maintenance, and a splash-pad is due to open soon.
