Get your kiddos up close and personal with some furry friends for a fun-filled day out with Eastwind Kennels' specially designed Kids & K9 Program. Upon arrival, children will get a short brief about dogs and some general info about the different breeds and how to best approach dogs they meet for the first time. They will have the opportunity to experience being a vet. They will wear a vet coat, hear their heartbeat, and practice other basic vet practices. Children will have the chance to play with well trained & kids friendly dogs. Learn about their behavior, feed them, take pictures with them, and train them on basic commands such as sit, down, and handshake. Children can participate together in dog-related puzzles and games. Paint little Dog casts and bring out the artist in them. **For special kids’ groups day trip to Eastwind Main Kennels Facility or Birthday events to Eastwind Dog Park Reservation in advance is a Must.
