The festive season is right at our doorstep, and after the crazy year we’ve all had, we are more than happy to welcome in the merry cheer! From fantastic festive markets to wonderful ways to meet the Big Man In Red, there’s plenty to get excited for! So grab your elf shoes, don on your Santa’s hat and get ready to jingle!

Santa's Post Office at Eggs & Soldiers

Eggs & Soldiers is bringing you and your littles plenty of Christmas magic this festive season with a custom-made ‘Santa’s Post Office’, offering the kiddos a place to send their wishes, lists, and secret notes off to the North Pole.

Until the end of December, you and the family can stop by Eggs & Soldiers with your kids’ letters, and post them to Santa through the beautiful wooden post office, with no postage fee required!

To add to the excitement, parents can leave their details when sending letters before December 18th, and the kiddos will receive a handwritten reply from Santa himself…which will arrive for collection at the store in plenty of time for Christmas.

Santa Run

Run, Santa, Run! Kick off the festive season with fun Santa-themed run, with races suitable for grownups and kiddos at different endurance levels.

The race is over 5km, though there are shorter routes of 1km and 2.5km for kids if you’re running as a family. Whichever track you choose you’ll get your time at the end, and it’s all for fun. You’ll even get a medal and refreshments thrown in. Plus, you’ll want to dust off your best outfit as there’s a Best Dressed Santa prize too.

Runners also get access to Santa’s Grotto in Dubai Festival City, as well as free festive goodies to really get you in the festive spirit.

Christmas Market at Dubai Polo & Equestrian Club

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! So head down to the Dubai Equestrian & Polo Club for some festive family fun. Enjoy some great holiday shopping from all the best small businesses that the UAE has to offer.

Your kiddos will be entertained by their favourite radio star and magician, Magic Phil, while waiting to see if Santa stops by. You’ll wander through rows of real Christmas trees and choose the perfect one for your family this year from they display by Spinneys.

And what’s the festive season without doing good? A massive toy drive is happening to support the amazing work of Stop & Help to make sure every child receives a gift this season.

The Ripe Festive Market

Head down to the Ripe Market’s Festive edition fo some holiday shopping and cheer. Throughout December and until Boxing Day, the Market will offer all sorts of seasonal activities to make your holidays holly and jolly.

Parents and kiddos will enjoy a Santa’s Grotto, Photos with Father Christmas, Christmas Tree shopping, a Tree Lighting ceremony, Gingerbread making, Cookie Decorating, and so much more! Yummy seasonal foods and beverages will be on offer as well, so you can eat out on your market day out.

Festive Garden at Habtoor Palace Dubai

Habtoor Palace Dubai’s enchanting Festive Garden will resemble a winter wonderland, providing fun festivities for the entire family.

The garden will be decked out in dazzling decorations, holiday carols will fill the air, and fun entertainment is guaranteed for the little ones. Every day, a jolly Santa will arrive and the evening continues with a live singer playing all the seasonal classics to bring in the festive spirit.

To add to the winter cheer, there will be a variety of kiosks and food stalls, serving up a delicious Yuletide of traditional delights alongside a selection of Christmas beverages.

Desert Festive Market at Bab Al Shams

This festive season, Bab Al Shams transforms into a desert-themed wonderland with  joyous offerings that’s perfect for you and your little ones.

Festive attractions include hot chocolate, mince pies and Christmas cookies, Meet & Greet with Santa, 30-minute carol renditions daily, a 40 ft. Christmas tree with a Santa chair and horse carriage set-up, daily Christmas buffet dinner at Al Forsan restaurant – plus festive stalls serving up food and beverages, set in the middle of the desert winter wonderland.

ExpatWoman's Craft Fair 2020

The hugely popular Crafter’s Market is back this year and there’s a Santa meet-and-greet too! Food and Beverage stalls will be running throughout the day, so no need to worry about hungry tummies. Parents can stroll the festive stalls and enjoy a live polo match.

The show is – of course – full of silliness, seasonal songs, magic tricks and non-stop audience interaction! So mark your calendar for a festive family show that’s not to be missed!

If you like Christmas, you’ll LOVE The Christmas Show at Fairmont The Palm this December.
