These immersive summer theatre camps by ARTSies Inc give children and teens the chance to sing, dance, act, and perform in a fully staged musical production, all in just two unforgettable weeks. Ho Theatre, in the Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto (Markham Rd. & Sheppard Ave. E). - Ages: 5 - 8 years, 9 - 12 years, 13 - 17 years (Teen Encore Program) - Eligibility (Grades): Students must be beginning Grade 1 in September 2026 to join the Grade 1–8 camp Exceptions for younger students may be considered case by case — families are encouraged to get in touch Students must be starting Grade 9 - 12 in September 2026 to join the Encore (Teen) Camp - Each session includes one special workshop led by a talented guest artist. - Dates: Session 1: July 6 – July 17, 2026 (Teen Camp) Session 2: July 20 – July 31, 2026 (Grades 1–8) - Timings: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM daily Duration: 10 days (2 weeks) Final Performance: Second Thursday of each session at 6:30 PM Price: Approx. $1,500 CAD per session (plus tax) Optional Bus Service: Available from select Markham/Thornhill stops --------- Age-Specific Experiences --------- Ages 5 - 8yrs | Creative First-Time Performers A joyful introduction to musical theatre designed for younger campers. With age-appropriate roles, lots of encouragement, and playful learning, children build confidence while discovering the magic of performing on stage. Ages 9 - 12yrs | Confident Performers in the Making Perfect for kids ready to dive deeper into theatre. Campers rehearse a full musical, strengthen performance skills, and learn responsibility, collaboration, and stage discipline — all while having a blast. - Ages 13 - 17yrs | Encore Teen Theatre Camp An advanced, immersive experience for teens who love performing.
