Cheer Sport Sharks offers girls and boys ages 3 and up the opportunity to build confidence and physical strength through cheer’s dynamic blend of athleticism and artistry. They offer a variety of recreational and competitive cheerleading programs to provide the benefits of cheerleading for all skill levels across southern Ontario. Locations: Kitchener, Ancaster, Ottawa, Milton, Toronto ----- PROGRAMS ----- - Cheerleading Classes: Recreational Cheer (Ages 3–12): A welcoming, entry-level program with no experience required. Children learn basics like coordination, balance, jumps, tumbling, and teamwork, with one practice per week. Half-Year Teams: Seasonal group classes that build a routine and wrap with a family showcase. All-Star Cheer – Novice (Ages 4+): Intro to competitive cheer with routines learned for local competitions. Tryouts are optional and welcoming. All-Star Cheer – Competitive & Worlds Teams (Ages 6+): More advanced teams train multiple times a week and compete locally, nationally, and internationally, including at the Cheerleading World Championships. - Tumbling Sessions Semi-Private Lessons: One-on-one or 2:1 coaching to learn and perfect skills like walkovers, handsprings, tucks, and more. Coaches tailor sessions to each athlete’s ability. Group Tumbling Classes: Small, age-specific classes (max 10 athletes) that build core strength, technique, and new tumbling skills week to week. Skill-Specific Clinics: Drop-in sessions focused on particular moves, great for weekend or holiday improvements. Tumbling Camps: Seasonal camps (levels 1–6) that develop fundamentals, boost strength, and help athletes progress through advanced skills. - Camps: PD Days, Winter Break, March Break, Summer Break Campers aged 4 to 12 years Recreational Camps: Campers spend the day in one of the cheerleading gyms learning the fundamentals of cheerleading including stunts, jumps, and tumbling. There are also tons of games, arts and crafts, and other traditional day camp programming. Half-day recreational camps are available in combination with tumbling camps to better accommodate busy families. Depending on your location there are regular PD Day Camps in line with local schooling. Camps run from 8 am-5 pm with activities between 9 am-4 pm to keep those campers busy. These are offered as both recreational day camps or tumbling day camps. Tumbling Camps: Tumbling camps are offered throughout the season that are geared towards all levels, 1 through 6. Every tumbling camp is focused on fundamentals, strength development, and skill progressions within the athlete's appropriate level. --------- Birthday Parties ---------- - Throw the most JAWsome birthday party of the year without lifting a finger. Best of all the Birthday Kid gets to be the star in their crew’s very own cheerleading routine! - Each two-hour birthday party includes; 1hour 15 mins: active play in one of the All-Star Cheerleading facilities 45 mins: for food, dessert and gifts.
