In addition to their live shows, The Second City Toronto also offers classes and workshops where aspiring performers can learn improv and sketch comedy from experienced instructors. Kids and Teens can take a class with The Second City too! --- PROGRAMS --- - Camps: In-Person Summer Comedy Camps The Second City’s signature Comedy Camps for kids are jam-packed with fun & games! There are 2 camps by age group 7-11 & 12-18yrs . - Kids Improv Program: Fundamentals of improvisation through exercises that help to develop strong ensemble and character work. Develop stage presence as well as patience, self confidence, good communication skills. Ages: 4 camps by age group 7-10, 11-13 & 14-18, Teen ensemble (14-18)yrs - Writing Program: Basics of sketch comedy scenes Study classic Second City scenes Use improv to develop scenes and write original sketches. Programs offered are Teen Sketch Level 01 & 02, Intro to Comedy Writing (Online).
