The AGO is one of Toronto’s most celebrated cultural destinations. It’s tons of fun for kids and families, too! See outstanding Indigenous, Canadian, and European art; cutting-edge contemporary work; and a renowned collection of prints, drawings, and photography. Enjoy art-making, storytelling, making new friends, and exploring new spaces. Find the Art Cart on Level 1, with fun activities on weekends and holiday Mondays. Be sure to check out Family Sundays with events for little kids, big kids, and the whole family; creative play and learning activities fill the Weston Family Learning Centre and the Dr. Mariano Elia Hands-On Centre from November through April. FOR EVERYONE: Activities for all ages. ------ FREE ADMISSION ------ Admission to the AGO is free the first Wednesday night of each month, between 6pm – 9pm. Be sure to book your free General Admission tickets online in advance to ensure entry. Tickets will be released online the Monday before the first Wednesday of every month. To receive your free ticket, you will need a valid email address. A maximum of two (2) tickets can booked at one time. All visitors, including children in strollers, require a ticket. Book your tickets. Please dress for the weather as the queue for entrance begins outside the AGO. Pack light as wait times for coat check may be longer than usual! Please refrain from bringing oversized bags.
