C.J Skatepark is one of Canada’s largest indoor skateboard parks, in operation since 2008.

They offer skateboarding camps for summer, winter break, March break, and PA days.

Also year-round lessons and programs for all skill levels with certified instructors.

- An online waiver must be filled out prior to the class.

- To register for our "Private & Semi-Private & Group lessons", and "Intermediate Program"/"Advance Program" ; please email us at http://[email protected]/ with your participant(s) name, age, ability and a number for us to call you back at.

- Note: If in any case you are late you will be unable to join the lesson due to safety reasons as we need all students participating in the class to take part in the warm up and stretching routine prior to instruction.

- All classes start on time, no exceptions

CANCELLATION POLICY

a) Private & Semi-Private & Group Lessons:

- If you paid prior to your session and you are unable to make it to a session and need to cancel please do so at least 72 hours prior to your booking for a 50% Credit towards your next booking. In the case that you cancel after the 72 hour period we will be unable to issue a refund.

b) Introductory, Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced Programs

- No cancellations, substitutions or refunds

- Semi-Private Lessons/Group Lessons: Additional 15 minutes of free skating after the lesson.

4) Introductory Skateboard Program

- This program will introduce kids to skateboarding, including, proper safety gear and procedures, skatepark etiquette, showing the parts of a skateboard, determining their stance, learning how to fall safely, and basic introduction to tic-tacks.

- PREREQUISITE SKILL: This program is for kids ages 5 –10 who have never been on a skateboard or snowboard even if only once before.

- Duration: 4 classes, 45-minute class per week

- Choose Mondays or Wednesdays, from 4:15 pm – 5:00 pm)

- Includes all equipment rentals (helmet, safety pads, and a skateboard)

- PLEASE NOTE: we need a minimum of 4 students for this program or it will not take place.

- If it turns out your child has been on a skateboard or snowboard before, they will NOT be permitted to take this class Sorry, no refunds.

5) Beginner Program (check the calendar for dates)

- This program, includes skateboard components and selection, skateboard orientation, skatepark etiquette, skateboard safety, navigating the skateboard (street, bowl, transitions), pushing on flat ground, coasting, carving, stopping by foot braking, drop-in ramps, tic-tacs, rolling down bank ramps, kickturns & carves on banks, kickturns on transitions, introduction to the ollie, and more!

- The Beginner Program closes with a progress report including recommendations for further study.

- PREREQUISITE SKILL: Successful completion of our ‘Introductory Skateboard Program” or have some experience on a skateboard and demonstrate basic skills (safe falling and basic manoeuvring).

- Duration: 5 classes, 2 hour class per week (45-minute lesson includes optional up to 75-minute free skate after the lesson)
- Choose Mondays or Wednesdays, from 5:15pm – 7:00pm

- REQUIREMENTS: helmet, safety pads, skateboard. If you do not have, you can either purchase or rent.
- PLEASE NOTE: we need a minimum of 2 students for this program or it will not take place.

6) Intermediate Program

- This program leads students through a growing list of skill sets (including ollies, flip tricks, ramps, ledges, rails, etc.), and their application on a wide variety of terrain. Students will also be introduced to competitive skateboarding.

- PREREQUISITE SKILL: Must demonstrate basic skills (ability to drop-in, turning, stopping, safe falling and basic manoeuvring).

- Duration: 5 classes, 1 hour & 45minute each per week (45-minute lesson includes optional up to 60-minute free skate after lesson)
- Choose Tuesdays from 5:30pm to 7:15pm OR Tuesdays or Thursdays, from 6:15 to 8:00pm

- REQUIREMENTS: helmet, safety pads, skateboard. If you do not have, you can either purchase or rent.
- PLEASE NOTE: we need a minimum of 3 students for this program or it will not take place


7) Advanced Program

- This program explores skateboarding as self-expression, psychological preparation (visualization, stress management, and having fun), physical preparation (developing new tricks and stretching), managing risk, managing expectations, competition skateboarding.

- Key values promoted include: fun, fairness, excellence, respect, and giving back.

PREREQUISITE SKILL: Must demonstrate a solid foundation of skateboarding skills (such as ollies, flip tricks, ramps, ledges, rails, etc. and their application on a wide variety of terrain).

- The Advanced Program closes with a progress report including recommendations for further study. Instructors usually recommend skaters for placement in this program.

- PLEASE NOTE: we need a minimum of 3 students for this program or it will not take place
