Riverdale Park East

Riverdale Park East is an 18-hectare park located near Danforth Avenue and Broadview Avenue in Toronto and is part of the larger Riverdale Park. It offers beautiful views of the downtown Toronto skyline and is a popular destination for winter activities such as tobogganing and ice-skating on the outdoor rink. The park also features sports fields for baseball, soccer, and ultimate frisbee, as well as a picnic area and a playground. During the summer, residents and visitors can relax in the shade and enjoy a picnic in the park. Recently, the park opened a brand new track and field facility, offering an impressive 400-meter track, stadium lighting, and a field turf surface for soccer and other field sports. There is a nice playground to the east of the rink. A naturalized area at the north end of the park has many recreational trails ideal for walking.
