Mackenzie House is a restored 1857 townhouse in downtown Toronto. It was the last home of William Lyon Mackenzie, Toronto's first mayor and leader of the 1837 Rebellion. The site features a recreated 19th-century print shop. Kids can enjoy: - Making crafts - Guided tours - A "Victorian Christmas" in December - A "Robbie Burns Day Celebration" in January Note: General admission is free. Some exhibitions and events may carry a separate charge where noted. Registration is required for neighborhood tours. Group Visits: Effective January 1, 2023, groups of 15 people or more will be charged a fee for their visits. This fee includes a reserved time for your group and a dedicated tour guide to ensure an enjoyable and engaging experience.
