Featuring over 12,000 years of Ontario’s history, the Museum also cares for the Canadian Heritage site of the Lawson Village adjacent to the Museum. ----- PROGRAMS ----- - Pre-Booked Tours: Visitors may pre-book guided tours at least 24 hours in advance. Tour options are general guided tour and the popular tours and activities. These tours are available Tuesdays to Fridays at 10 AM & 3 PM*. Pre-booking is required and can be done through the inquiry form below or by contacting [email protected]. - General Tours: General Tours are approximately an hour in length and are led by knowledgeable guides who will take visitors through the Lawson Site and the permanent galleries. This new tour option Tour & Activity is a new spin on the popular Family Field Trip. They offer museum programming for birthday parties. Museum programmers bring to life three fun themes: Ice Age Adventure, CSI (Crime Scene Investigation), and Dig It! Party package inclusions: - 1 hour: Museum programming - Upto 1 hour: Use classroom space for gift opening - Up to 12 children with max of 15 persons in total (including the birthday child).
