From beaches to parks, it’s a smorgasbord of picnic spots…

We are absolutely LOVING the weather right now. So this week, we’re getting out the family mat, packing ourselves some sandwiches and juices and heading outdoors for a perfect family picnic

1. The Ripe Market at Police Academy Park

Spend your weekends outdoors and enjoy kids’ activities, shopping stalls; grab a picnic spot and munch on seasonal organic fruit and veg, freshly baked bread, or experience some of Dubai‚Äôs best-loved food concepts.

2. Al Barsha Pond Park

Enjoy 50 acres of greenery for your little ones to let loose and plenty of picturesque spots to settle down for a picnic.

3. Al Sufouh Beach

Spend the day with your family in a raw natural setting at Al Sufouh Public Beach. This bay has stunning views of Burj Al Arab to your right and The Palm Jumeirah in front of you.

4. Food Truck Jam

Head outdoors for a full day of family fun with live music, loads of children’s activities and even a craft market. Alongside all the delicious food options, you can even get free Golf Lessons or simply hang out for a picnic and enjoy the live bands and Dubai’s cooler weather.

5. Creek Park

A perfect place to plop down for a little picnic or even rent bikes together as a family and enjoy the scenic greenery.

6. Safa Park

More than just a green park with grassy expanses and rolling hills, this family must-see also has a lake, fountain and waterfall. A great spot for a packed picnic – or to cook up lunch at the designated barbecue areas.

7. Mushrif Park

Head to Mushrif Park for an afternoon picnic and don’t forget a visit to the “World Village”, which boasts tiny buildings from every continent. There’s even a mini train and swimming pools on-site for an extra fee.

8. The Ripe Market at Umm Al Emarat Park

Following the recent ease of restrictions in Dubai such as the reopening of major public parks and beaches, comes the reopening of our favourite family restaurants! Yay! Standalone restaurants and restaurants in hotels are now welcoming back children between 3-12 years old and also adults above 60. Entry into restaurants inside malls are, however, still not permitted for this group.
