Matilda the Musical at Dubai Opera

Matilda the Musical by the Royal Shakespeare Company is heading to Dubai for ten days from October 3 to 12.

The multi-award-winning performance is not to be missed; the live show has been running for over a decade in London and has received stellar reviews time and time again with 99 international awards, including 24 for Best Musical. Inspired by Roald Dahl's book Matilda, the story follows a special little girl called Matilda who is determined to take a stand and change her own destiny with the help of her vivid imagination and sharp mind.

The musical fittingly has some strong names behind it. It's directed by Tony Award winner Matthew Warchus, the brilliant script is written by Dennis Kelly and the dazzling original songs are written by Tim Minchin and choreographed by Tony Award winner Peter Darling. The sensational orchestrations are produced by yet another Tony Award winner, Christopher Nightingale, while the thrilling set designs and costumes are by Rob Howell, who is also a Tony Award recipient!
