Kidzapp N/A Kidzapp

Blast off into crafty happiness with today’s Valentine Rocket Ships kid craft tutorial made from popsicle sticks and paper! Then use them as heart themed decor, for pretend play pieces or turn them into “valentines” by adding a to/from on the back and gifting them to a friend or loved one.

--WHAT YOU'LL NEED--

Jumbo Popsicle Sticks {3 per rocket ship craft}
Mini Popsicle Sticks {2 per rocket ship craft}
School Glue
Craft Paint {in any color you like!}

Small Paper Plate
Valentine’s Day Themed Scrapbook Paper or Cardstock Paper
Orange Colored Cardstock
Heart Paper Punch
Optional – craft glitter, rhinestones, feathers etc.

--STEP 1--

Glue your popsicle sticks together to look like a fence. Lay the three jumbo popsicle sticks next to each other and then the two mini across. Set aside to let it dry completely. Repeat for each Valentine rocket you want to make.

--STEP 3--

Next grab your scrapbook paper and cardstock. Cut out a triangular top for the rocket ship, as well as a pretty heart embellishment for the center and orange flames on the bottom.

--STEP 4--

To finish off your Popsicle Stick Valentine Rocket Ship – have the kiddos glue on their cardstock pieces, as well as any other embellishments they see fit
