Activities with 6 Lines of Tape

Find out what you can do with simple lines of tape

--WHAT YOU'LL NEED--

Tape

-- STEP 1 --

Cut pieces of tape to be the same size and tape them to the floor at equal distances

-- GAME 1 --

Jump from the first line and seeing how far they can jump. You can also jump from line to line or skipping over a line.

-- GAME 2 --

Jump backward: Same as game 1, just doing it backwards.

-- GAME 3 --

Jump with one foot. You may have to hold your toddler's hand for this one

-- GAME 4 --

How far can you stretch?
Starting with your foot on the first line, see how far you can stretch with your other foot while keeping your first foot in place.

-- GAME 5 --
How far can you reach?
Start by standing on the first line and then bending over to touch the next line with your hands. Then walk forward with your hands, seeing how far you can reach.

-- GAME 6 --
How long are you?
Measure yourself! Lay down and see how long you are.
