Gouna: The Family Friendly Way

With their low drafts, the boats can enter into very shallow reefs and anchor for a chance to go swimming and enjoy some first-class snorkeling among the incredible underwater life. The skipper and crew will look after your every need, from supplying food and drinks, to setting you up with snorkeling gear, and offering a helping hand when you need to climb back on board.

The boats are extremely comfortable, and you will get the chance to laze in the sun for some sunbathing opportunities directly over the Red Sea. There are also plenty of seats in the shade, perfect if you have tiny tots with you.

Spend a relaxing family day watching your little ones play by the beach or pool and not having to worry about their meals. Order from their extensive menu (with plenty of agreeable options for your little ones) and you’ll get your food wherever you choose to hang out. You can also enjoy fun water activities such as paddling, volleyball, boat rides and more.

Enjoy a family day at Maymya Island, an exclusive beach located on Giftun Island part of the Red Sea National Parks. Mahmya is home to pristine, blue water and a white sandy beach with a variety of activities on offer. Enjoy snorkeling, explore the kids' water park, or play some beach volleyball, sand soccer, and much more. Mahmya is also home to a spectacular restaurant offering a delicious menu and refreshing drinks all day.

Take your family on a shuttle boat that will carry you away to Zeytouna Island's beach. The beach is home to a long reef that kids particularly enjoy, and is also home to a stunning reef that you can explore as a family.

Hotels including Sultan Bey and The three Corners Rihanna, offer a boat shuttle service to take you to and from the island.

Make your way through nature with these fun-filled hikes led by Gouna Mountain Goats. Your entire family is welcome to join in on the action as you make your way through the lesser-known side of Gouna and it's breathtaking nature! Gouna Mountain Goats run a variety of trips throughout the year, some of which include yoga, more challenging rock climbing and some even include a dinner in the desert!

Race with your little ones at El Gouna Go Cart’s 500 meter track and enjoy the thrill of it all. Choose between the option of a quick race or a full on competition. You and your kids won't want to leave.

Ride durations are 10 minutes long with no specific age limit; kid simply must be able to reach the gears and take control of the cars.

Little kids love this lively play area filled with lots of activities to keep them busy like painting, drawing, slides, swings. The play area is an excellent way for them to release all that extra energy.

Take a tour around Gouna with your entire family on Segways. Make your way through all of Gouna's most famous spots in a new and different way. Tours are 30 minutes long and start from El Gouna Marina behind HSBC bank.

Kids from as young as 10 years old can join.

Explore everything under the sea with a breathtaking, family-friendly trip on the "Ocean Flyer." The semi submarine will have you and your little ones sitting on top of the water, but seeing everything underneath through the boat's glass bottom. Your kiddies will particularly enjoy seeing all the underwater life, as well as the mere fact of being on a boat!

This is perfect for small groups, or even just your family alone.

Sliders Aqua Park offers the ultimate water experience — combining the excitement of an aqua park with rock climbing adrenaline. There are variety of fun water obstacles featuring: Slide Towers, Jungle bars, Cliff, Trampoline, Fun Pillars, Balance Beams, Ramps and many more massive obstacles.

Sliders Aqua Park El Gouna is an inflatable playground full of fun, a great place for kids, teenagers and adults between the ages of 6 and 66. Don't worry, you don't have to be a water sports pro to have a good time; the park is designed for all skill sets.

All passes include life vest which is obligatory to wear.

Designed as a haven for kite surfers from all over the world, this private beach also has a few unique perks for your little ones.
