The Canadian Opera Company (COC) is thrilled to present the Summer Music Camp for 2026

Camp is a great way to make new friends, discover new interests, and build confidence. With options for youth of all ages, campers have the opportunity to explore music, opera, and the performing arts as both creators and performers.

- As a participant in this program, young artists will spend a week immersed in the world of music and opera.

- Participants will work with professional artists, exploring various areas of this multifaceted art form and honing a wide range of skills that include: singing, composing, movement, drama, and design.

- Campers are supported in a creative and non-competitive environment where they can learn and experiment with different modes of artistic expression, build confidence, and most importantly, are free to be themselves.

- No previous experience with opera or music is required to participate in this program.

B) Junior Company Week 1(entering grades 4 to 6), Monday July 13 to Friday, July 17, 2026

C) Junior Company Week 2 (entering grades 4 to 6), Monday, July 20 - Friday, July 24, 2026

D) Intermediate Company (entering grades 6 to 8), Monday, July 27 - Friday, July 31, 2026
