Welcome to British Swim School at LA Fitness-Etobicoke Creek. The pool is located at the LA Fitness in the Mississauga-Etobicoke area, on Dixie & Eglinton, close to major highways.

Plenty of on-site free parking. You don’t have to be an LA Fitness member to join their swim classes.

PROGRAMS BY AGES

The program offers a variety of small group classes to suit the littlest of beginners through to advanced swimmers, adults and private classes.


3-36 MONTHS
- Tadpole - Parent-and-child class introducing babies to the water through songs, play, and confidence-building activities.

- Swimboree - Builds early water survival skills with parent participation, focusing on floating, kicking, and comfort in the water.

18-36 MONTHS

- Seahorse – Helps toddlers develop greater independence while strengthening water safety and survival skills.

3-11YEARS

- Starfish - Water acclimation for first-time swimmers.

- Minnow - Beginner water survival, floating, breathing, and roll-over techniques.

- Turtle 1 - Advanced water survival and readiness for stroke development.

- Turtle 2 - Introduces freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly fundamentals.

- Shark 1 - Refines all four competitive strokes while building technique and endurance.

- Shark 2 - Pre-swim team program focusing on starts, turns, medleys, and stamina.

- 12+YEARS
Young Adult - Swim lessons for teens, from beginner to advanced skill levels.

CLASS DETAILS

- No Fixed sessions, so you can start your enrollment at any time to fit your schedule, and start right away.

- All classes are 30-minutes long.

- All classes, including adults, have a small student/instructor ratio.(4:1 max for Water Survival Levels and Adults), (6:1 max for Stroke Development Levels)

- They allow free makeup lessons if the absence is reported in advance. More than a 48 hour notice is appreciated.

- Special Ability lessons by certified instructors are available upon request.
