Forsythia Festival

The Cabbagetown Resident’s Association is thrilled to announce the return of the Forsythia Festival to Wellesley Park on the first Sunday in May. The Forsythia Festival has been held annually on the 1st Sunday of May at Wellesley Park for over 50 years! It’s free for all to attend, and people come from all over the city to join in the fun. There’s fun for all the family including a parade and food and drinks from local retailers and pubs. Plus lots of activities for kids of all ages, including face painting, a craft station, a bean bag toss, a parachute game, a photo booth, dangling doughnuts, and more. The Parade will start at the corner of Sumach and Winchester Street at 10:00 am Wear yellow and get excited to celebrate spring at this beloved neighbourhood festival with fun activities for all the family
