The Martha Hicks School of Ballet continues to provide an excellent dance education for students of all ages and skill levels. ------ PROGRAMS ------ - Dance Forms: Ballet: At MHSB, every student is encouraged to take Ballet, as it is the foundation of many other dance forms. The Martha Hicks School of Ballet teaches the Cecchetti method of ballet. Other Dance forms that are taught include Hip Hop, Jazz, Tap, Musical Theatre, Contemporary, Acro, and pointe. - Camp: Periodically throughout the year, Elementary schools have a PA day on Fridays. We know that sometimes it is a challenge to find care for your child or better yet, something fun for them to do. The MHSB PA Day Camp is a fun way for your children to stay active and learn various styles of dance. The day includes different activities such as Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Arts and Crafts, and games! - Parties & Rentals: Birthday parties can be booked on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Dates and times are available on a first‑come, first‑served basis. Contact the office to confirm availability. ------ PARTY DETAILS ------ - Studio Rental, Teacher, Assistant and Choreography personalized to your theme to be performed at the end of the party. - Tablecloth, tables, and chairs for the party set up and showing. - Parents to provide all decorations, food, cake, loot bags etc. Maximum of 16 children, for party groups between 16-20 there will be an additional $50 charge. - You may request a specific MHSB teacher, but we cannot guarantee they will be available. Parents to provide all decorations, food, cake, loot bags, etc. - Ages 4 and up: Can choose between a ballet or jazz party - Ages 7 and up: Can choose between a ballet, jazz or hip hop party
