Dance Pointe Toronto, offers high quality dance classes in a variety of styles for ages 2 and up. They provide a variety of dance styles and focus on teaching strong dance technique, confidence, self-discipline, and fostering lasting friendships among students. ----- PROGRAMS ----- - Recreational Dance: The studio offers a range of dance programs, including recreational classes where students can learn classical dance technique combined with acrobatic elements. This program offers a wide variety of classes: Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Acro, Hip Hop, and Contemporary. All recreational students participate in a year-end Recital. - Competitive Dance: Competitive Program provides students with well rounded dance training. Students get to compete at 4 competitions as well as perform at their own showcases and be featured in our annual year-end recital show. - Munchkin Movement: This is a fun way for children to explore movement through music, develop physical skills, channel energy, stimulate imagination and promote creativity.Basic ballet and jazz technique is incorporated into play. Child appropriate music is used to demonstrate different moods and rhythms. - Musical Theatre combines dance movements with an emphasis on developing acting and performance skills. Dancers will use facial expressions and body movements to portray different characters and story lines. Dances and routines will be inspired by music from popular movies & musicals! - Dance Pointe Toronto also offers summer camps, fall dance programs, and summer evening classes with different themes and opportunities for performances. ------ DRESS CODE ------ For each dance class - there is dress code for girls & boys, for Ages 3+ & up.
