Camp Can-Aqua is a long-established overnight summer camp in Cardiff, Ontario, Canada (about 20 min south of Bancroft). It’s not an aquatic centre - it’s a co-ed residential summer camp focused on outdoor adventure, activities on land and water, leadership, arts, and community building.

OVERNIGHT CAMP PROGRAMS

- One-Week Traditional Overnight Summer Camps
Description: A classic overnight camp experience tailored for younger campers or first-timers. Kids live in cabins with peers close in age and choose their activities daily, blending structured group programming with free-choice electives.
Ages: Typically 5–12 (with a special Session 5 all-ages week for 5–15).
Focus: Fun, confidence building, social connection, and introduction to traditional camp life.
When: Multiple one-week sessions throughout the summer ( Sun Jun 28 - Aug 23)
Typical Activities: Water sports, land games, arts, group events, campfires, and more — campers help choose daily electives.
Price Range: Varies by session ($1,675 to $1,775 + tax).
- Multi-Week Traditional Overnight Summer Camps (2–4 Weeks)
Description: Longer traditional sessions with deeper immersion into camp life. These include more sustained activity choices, community-building, and outdoor tripping.
Ages: 6–15 for 2-week sessions; 9–15 for 4-week sessions.
Focus: Growth, skill development, friendships, and outdoor adventure. Overnight “out-trips” are part of the experience (1–2 nights).
When: Several sessions during summer June 28 to August9).
Highlights:
2-Week Sessions: Great for building confidence and skills.
4-Week Sessions: Includes advanced experiences like advanced out-trips and skill certifications, plus the popular mid-session “Can-Aqua Games.”
Price Range: Around ~$3,350 + tax for 2-week sessions and ~$5,765 + tax for 4-week sessions.
- Waterski & Wakeboard Specialty Camps
Description: Single-week camps blending traditional camp life with focused waterski and wakeboard instruction. Each camper gets daily coaching and tailored training on Superior Lake waters.
Ages: 9–15.
Focus: Skill development in waterskiing and wakeboarding including on-water sessions and dry-land training.
When: Offered in specific weeks across the summer.
Price: Around ~$1,850 + tax per session.
🎬 4. Film Camp
Description: A creative, single-week program in partnership with the Northern Ontario Film Academy. Campers learn movie-making - from acting and directing to editing, while still enjoying the full residential camp experience.
Ages: 9–15.
Focus: Hands-on film production and creative arts.
When: Usually mid-to-late summer (e.g., one week in August).
Price: Around ~$1,750 + tax.
- Family Weekend Camps
Description: A weekend getaway for families at the camp. There’s a mix of structured activities and free time, all ages are welcome — from toddlers to adults — with options to try traditional camp fun together.
When: Several long weekends in summer and early fall (June 5–7, June 12–14, Sept 4–7, Sept 18–20, etc.).
Price: Usually $850–$1,085 + tax for a family of up to 5, with additional guests at a smaller rate; there’s also One-on-One Weekend option for a parent + child pair.
Focus: Family bonding, camp activities, relaxing by the lake, and community events.
