Mississauga’s annual maple syrup festival includes a variety of maple-themed activities for all ages. Learn about the Indigenous origins of the maple harvest, experience the process of making maple syrup, indulge in pancakes with real maple syrup, and enjoy crafts, games, and guided tours of the site. ----- ACTIVITIES ----- - Pancakes with real maple syrup - Outdoor guided tours of the maple sap line with Museum interpreters, available from 12:15 to 3:30 p.m. - Visit the historic Bradley House, where Museum interpreters will re-enact the seasonal activities of the Bradley Family - Learn about Indigenous seasonal food traditions from Elder Mark Sault of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. - Crafts and games - Gift shop at the Anchorage Gallery, with products supplied by Ontario maple syrup producers
